Leather dries out. Sunlight is the quiet cause, and by the time you can see it as stiffness, dullness or fine cracking at the corners and handles, the damage has already been done.
Our Nourishing UV Filter Conditioner puts moisture back into the leather and leaves a UV filter behind, so your bags age the way you want them to rather than the way the sun decides.

The lighter of our two conditioners. If your leather is aged, dry, worn or faded and needs reviving rather than maintaining, our Wonder Balm is the more intensive choice.
How to use
Before first use: our bottles are airless, so a little air can be trapped inside during transit. Hold the bottle upright and press the top steadily - it usually takes around five pumps before the formula begins to flow. Keep it vertical while you do this, as an angled bottle will not release the air and may drip.
- Cleanse first and let the bag dry fully. Conditioner applied over dirt seals the dirt in.
- Always apply to the mitt, never straight onto the bag. A few pumps onto your Application Mitt or a soft, dry cloth.
- Work over the leather in light, even circular passes, section by section. Work carefully around hardware and buff away any residue.
- Buff in fully and leave no excess. If the surface still looks wet, keep buffing with a clean, dry part of the cloth.
- Two light coats will always outperform one heavy one. Allow the leather to dry between them.
- Allow at least four to six hours to dry before the next step or before the bag is carried.
- Finish with our Water & Stain Guard. Conditioning feeds the leather, protecting is what keeps the next spill out.
How often: if the leather is in good condition, every other protect is plenty. Older or drier leather benefits from more. Coming into summer is the moment it earns its keep.
Always test in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
Suitable for
- Smooth and finished leather - lambskin, calfskin, caviar, Empreinte, Epi, Togo, Epsom, Taurillon and grained leathers
- Coated canvas, including LV Monogram, Damier and Goyard
Not suitable for:
- Suede, nubuck or microfibre - the oils flatten the nap permanently
- Fabric, embroidery or uncoated canvas
- Patent leather - heavily coated already, so conditioner is not needed
A word on vachetta. Conditioner can darken untreated vachetta, so on new or clean vachetta use our Water & Stain Guard alone. Save the conditioner for older, drier vachetta that genuinely needs feeding.

How to condition with the Nourishing Conditioner

Nourishing Conditioner or Wonder Balm?
The Nourishing Conditioner is the lighter of the two and the only one with a UV filter - the everyday choice for leather in good condition. Wonder Balm is our most intensive conditioner, for leather that is aged, dry, worn or faded and needs bringing back.
How often should I condition?
If the leather is in good condition, it does not need conditioning every time you clean. Every other protect is plenty. Older or drier leather benefits from more, and coming into summer is the moment it earns its keep.
Can I use it on vachetta?
With care. Conditioner can darken untreated vachetta, so on new or clean vachetta use the Water & Stain Guard alone. Save the conditioner for older, drier vachetta that genuinely needs feeding, and always test first.
Is it suitable for suede, fabric or patent?
No. The oils flatten the nap on suede, nubuck and microfibre permanently, fabric and uncoated canvas do not take conditioner, and patent leather is heavily coated already. It is made for smooth and grained leather and coated canvas.
